Bayleigh the Baby Bow is a small bow with a gentle smile. She lives by the edge of the Amazon forest. The forest is green and wide. Leaves whisper in the warm breeze. Bayleigh wears a bright ribbon on her head. She loves to dance and twirl.
One sunny morning, Bayleigh skipped along a soft path. She hummed a happy tune. She danced past tall ferns and bright flowers. A gentle spider waved from its web. A friendly snail peeked from its shell. Bayleigh waved back. She felt joy in her heart.
Suddenly, a soft gasp escaped her lips. Her ribbon slipped away. It fluttered down into the green moss. Bayleigh knelt and searched with small hands. The ribbon was gone. She felt a tiny tear. She tapped her foot and looked around. The moss was thick and soft.
“Where is my ribbon?” she whispered. Her voice sounded sad. A warm paw tapped her shoulder. It was Teddy Bear. Teddy Bear is soft and brave. He has a brown coat and a kind face. He smiles with gentle eyes.
“Do not cry, Bayleigh,” Teddy Bear said. “I will help you find it.”
Bayleigh sniffed. She felt a bit better. She took Teddy Bear’s paw. She said, “Thank you, dear friend. I am brave with you.” They set off on a gentle quest to find the lost ribbon.
They walked under tall trees that reached the sky. Sunlight peeked through green leaves. They saw a bright parrot on a branch. The parrot said, “Squawk! I saw a ribbon near the blue riverbank.” The bird bobbed its head and flew ahead.
Bayleigh and Teddy Bear followed. They hopped over a small stream. The water sparkled like glass. They stepped on round stones. A little frog croaked. The frog sang a friendly song. Bayleigh giggled at the happy sound.
At the riverbank, blue water flowed. Smooth stones lined the shore. Bayleigh looked down. She saw a bright red flower. The ribbon lay beneath its petals. The ribbon shone in the sun.
Bayleigh reached out and picked it up. It felt soft and smooth. She tied it back on her head. She smiled wide. “I found it!” she cheered. Teddy Bear clapped his paws. The parrot squawked joyfully. The frog croaked a happy rhyme.
Bayleigh spun in small circles. She danced with her ribbon. She felt warm inside. She hugged Teddy Bear tight. “Thank you for helping me,” she said. “You make me brave.”
Teddy Bear smiled. He said, “We make a good team.”
They waved to the frog and the parrot. They thanked the frog for its song. They thanked the parrot for its help. Bayleigh waved to the tall trees and friendly flowers.
As they walked home, the sun began to set. The sky glowed pink and gold. Bayleigh held her ribbon and Teddy Bear’s paw. She felt safe and happy. She learned that kind friends help us find what is lost.
At the edge of the forest, Bayleigh said good night to the trees. She and Teddy Bear went home. They felt joy and friendship in their hearts. And Bayleigh knew she would always find her ribbon when she had love and help from her dear friend.
