On a warm Island, Fairy Baby Shark fluttered above the soft sand. Baby Shark was a tiny fairy with shiny fins and little wings. Baby Shark was kind, a bit shy, and very brave when a friend needed help.
Near the palm trees, Princess sat on a shell stool. Princess was gentle and curious. She wore a small crown that sparkled like morning light.
“Hello, Baby Shark,” said Princess.
“H-hello,” Baby Shark whispered. “What’s wrong?”
Princess pointed to the sea. The water looked gray, not blue. The fish looked sleepy.
“My favorite seashell is gone,” Princess said. “The Rainbow Shell. It makes the water bright.”
Baby Shark blinked. “We will find it.”
A windy giggle rolled over the beach.
From behind a rock, Wizard appeared. He had a long hat and a cloak that swished. Wizard held something shiny.
“I took the Rainbow Shell,” Wizard said. “Now the Island will be dull. Heh-heh.”
Princess hugged her hands. “Please give it back.”
Wizard shook his head. “Find it if you can!”
Poof! Wizard vanished in a puff of salty smoke.
Baby Shark’s wings trembled. Baby Shark wanted to hide. But Princess looked so sad.
Baby Shark took a deep breath. “I am small,” Baby Shark said, “but I can try.”
They walked along the shore. Squish, squish, went the sand. Baby Shark listened.
“Do you hear that?” Baby Shark asked.
A tiny “plink-plink” sound came from the tide pools.
In a tide pool, a crab tapped two pebbles like drums.
“Hello, Crab,” Princess said. “Did you see a Rainbow Shell?”
Crab nodded and pointed with one claw. “Wizard went that way. Past the tall rocks. Into the hidden cave.”
Baby Shark gulped. “A cave.”
Princess held Baby Shark’s hand. “Together.”
Together.
They followed the rocks. The air smelled like sea spray. At the cave, it was dim.
Baby Shark whispered, “I will make a little light.”
Baby Shark waved a fin. A soft glow popped on, like a tiny star.
“Ooo,” said Princess. “Pretty!”
Inside, they saw Wizard’s footprints in wet sand. They heard a hum.
“Hmmm-hmmm,” hummed Wizard.
Baby Shark peeked. Wizard had put the Rainbow Shell on a stone. The Shell still shone, but Wizard had tied it with a seaweed knot.
Baby Shark thought hard. Baby Shark was shy, but also clever.
Baby Shark whispered, “Princess, can you distract him?”
Princess stood tall. “Wizard! I brought you a gift!”
Wizard turned. “A gift? For me?”
Princess held up a plain shell. “This one is smooth.”
Wizard leaned close. “Hmm. Not bad.”
Baby Shark zipped behind the stone. Baby Shark’s glow became brighter, like a flashlight.
“Wake up, seaweed!” Baby Shark said softly.
Baby Shark’s fairy magic made the seaweed wiggle and loosen.
Slip… slip… the knot fell open.
Baby Shark grabbed the Rainbow Shell. It felt warm, like sunshine.
Wizard spun around. “Hey!”
Baby Shark did not run far. Baby Shark stood and spoke in a small voice that tried to be big.
“Wizard, the Island needs this Shell,” Baby Shark said. “Please stop.”
Wizard frowned. Then Wizard looked at the gray water outside the cave.
Wizard’s shoulders dropped. “I only wanted the shine for myself,” Wizard muttered.
Princess stepped closer. “We can share shine,” she said.
Baby Shark nodded. “You can visit. You can look. But not take.”
Wizard sighed. “Okay… I am sorry.”
Baby Shark lifted the Rainbow Shell high.
The Shell sang a quiet, happy song. The sea turned blue again. The fish perked up. The Island looked bright.
Back on the beach, Princess clapped. “You did it!”
Baby Shark smiled wide. “We did it.”
Princess opened a little treasure box made of coral.
“For you,” Princess said.
Inside was a tiny star-shaped charm and a bag of sweet sea-pearl candies.
Baby Shark gasped. “Mine?”
“Yours,” said Princess. “For brave, kind help.”
Wizard stood nearby, holding a broom made of palm leaves.
“I will clean the beach,” Wizard said. “To say sorry.”
Baby Shark giggled. “Swish-swish!”
The sun warmed the sand. The Rainbow Shell sparkled safely by Princess.
Baby Shark flew in a happy circle, charm twinkling, candies tucked close.
On that bright Island, Baby Shark learned something simple: even a shy little fairy can be brave, especially with a friend.
