Mommy Peach and the Missing Star

Kids stories

In the sparkling Crystal Nebula, Mommy Peach the Fairy and her friends search for a missing star—and meet a Pirate with a jar of stolen light.
Mommy Peach and the Missing Star

Mommy Peach was a Fairy. She was soft and brave. She had peach-pink wings that went flap, flap.

She lived in the Crystal Nebula. It sparkled like sugar. The air was cool. The lights were tiny and twinkly.

One night, a little star went missing. The sky looked like it had a small hole.

Mommy Peach held her wand. “Oh dear,” she said. “We will find the missing star.”

Spellcaster came zooming in. Spellcaster was quick and proud. “I can do big magic!” Spellcaster said.

Star Collector floated close. Star Collector was gentle and careful. “I keep stars safe,” they whispered.

Tree Spirit woke up from a crystal tree. Tree Spirit was slow and kind. “I listen to the wind,” Tree Spirit hummed.

They all looked up. No star.

Mommy Peach said, “Let’s go together. Tiny steps. Big hearts.”

They walked on a shiny path. It crunched like snow.

Soon they heard: clink, clink.

A Pirate ship drifted in the nebula mist. It had a black sail and a silly hat on the front.

The Pirate grinned. “I took a bright thing! It makes my ship glow,” the Pirate said.

Mommy Peach felt a little scared. Her tummy went flutter.

But she took a slow breath. “Hello,” she said. “That star is lost. It is not yours.”

Spellcaster stepped forward. “I will blast you!” Spellcaster yelled.

Mommy Peach shook her head. “No blasts. We use kind magic.”

Star Collector pointed. On the Pirate’s deck was a jar. Inside, the missing star blinked. Blink. Blink.

Tree Spirit leaned closer. “The star is tired,” Tree Spirit said. “It needs sky space.”

Mommy Peach flew up, flap flap. She landed on the deck.

The Pirate tried to hide the jar behind his coat. “Mine!” he said.

Mommy Peach spoke softly. “Pirate, are you lonely in the dark mist?”

The Pirate blinked. His grin fell. “My ship is gloomy,” he mumbled.

Mommy Peach smiled. “We can help. But first, the star goes home.”

Spellcaster made a tiny spell. Not a blast. A bubble. Pop! A big, clear bubble covered the jar.

Star Collector sang a star song. “Shine, shine, little friend.”

The bubble floated off the deck. Mommy Peach guided it with her wand like a balloon.

Tree Spirit blew a slow wind. Whooo. The bubble rose.

The star flew out with a happy zing and snapped back into the sky. The hole was gone.

The Crystal Nebula glittered brighter. Sparkle, sparkle.

The Pirate looked up. “Now my ship is dark again,” he sighed.

Mommy Peach said, “No stealing. But we can share light.”

Star Collector opened a pocket pouch. Inside were safe star beads, not real stars. They glowed мягко.

“Gift,” Star Collector said.

Spellcaster sprinkled a small spell. The beads became a string of lanterns.

Tree Spirit placed them along the Pirate’s rail. “For cozy light,” Tree Spirit said.

The Pirate’s ship twinkled, not too bright, just right.

The Pirate laughed. “I like this better. Thank you. I will not take stars.”

Mommy Peach clapped. “Good choice!”

Then the sky gave a reward.

A soft shower of star dust fell, like warm glitter snow. Mommy Peach caught it in a peach shell cup.

“Treasure!” Spellcaster cheered.

Mommy Peach made the dust into a tiny crown for each friend. One for Spellcaster. One for Star Collector. One for Tree Spirit. And one for the Pirate, too.

They all shone.

Mommy Peach flew home through the Crystal Nebula, calm and happy. “We found the missing star,” she whispered. “And we made new light.”
