Tobias is a Time Traveler. He is small, kind, and brave. He wears a round helmet with a tiny clock on it. Tick-tock.
Tobias stands on the Moon. The Moon is quiet. The dust is soft, like powder. Stars blink far away.
“Oh no,” says Tobias. “One star is missing.”
A friend floats in. Star Collector. Star Collector is shiny and gentle. They carry a little bag that sparkles.
“I collect lost stars,” says Star Collector. “But today… my best star slipped away.”
Tobias nods. “We will find it. Together.”
They hop-hop in slow Moon jumps. Boing. Boing.
They look behind a gray rock. No star.
They peek in a tiny crater. No star.
Then they hear a low sound. Rrrrum.
A Dragon curls near a big crater. The Dragon is huge. Its scales are dark like night. Its eyes are bright like lamps.
Tobias holds Star Collector’s hand. “Hello, Dragon.”
The Dragon sniffs. “I heard a twinkle. I followed it. Now it is stuck.”
Stuck? Tobias leans closer. Inside the crater, something glows. A little star. It blinks. It looks scared.
Star Collector whispers, “That is my best star!”
The Dragon huffs. “I am not mean. But I am big. I cannot reach.”
Tobias thinks. Time Travelers think in clever ways.
He taps his helmet clock. “Tick-tock, help me.”
He turns the tiny knob. Not fast. Not scary. Just a little.
The dust swirls. The moment feels soft. Like a rewind.
“Now!” says Tobias.
They move together.
Star Collector lowers the sparkly bag on a string.
Tobias guides it: “Left… a bit… down.”
The bag touches the star. The star jumps in with a tiny ding!
The crater stops glowing.
Star Collector hugs the bag. “We did it!”
The Dragon smiles. Smoke comes out like a warm sigh. “Thank you. The twinkle was tickling my nose.”
Tobias giggles. “Sorry, Dragon.”
The Dragon bends low. “A gift for you.”
It pushes a small Moon chest from the dust. Click. The chest opens.
Inside are star stickers. So many! And one smooth Moon pebble that shines blue.
“For you,” says the Dragon. “To remember the brave team.”
Star Collector adds one more thing. A tiny jar of star dust. It sparkles-sparkles.
Tobias says, “I will share.”
They place the rescued star back in the sky. It snaps into place like a button.
The Moon looks brighter.
Star Collector waves. “Good collecting!”
The Dragon rumbles happily. “Good traveling!”
Tobias jumps once more. Boing.
He looks at his helmet clock. Tick-tock.
“I learned a new skill,” he says softly. “I can use time gently. And I have treasures too.”
On the quiet Moon, Tobias smiles, holding his star stickers and glowing pebble, while the sky twinkles whole again.
